Melly has been using the hula hoop as a way to stay fit for 10+ years. Her journey began when she discovered the joy and creativity of hooping, which quickly transformed into a passion and a way of life. Over the last 13 years, she has honed her skills, sharing the magic of hooping with countless individuals of all ages and backgrounds all over the country.

Melly Jean was born and raised in New Jersey and now proudly calls North Texas her home. She is a dedicated instructor with a deep passion for helping students thrive and works diligently to make a positive impact in the lives of her students. While her expertise lies in special education (Melly holds a Master's degree in Special Education) she also has a unique perspective on the power of hula hooping, seeing it as a fantastic way to break away from traditional routines and ignite creativity.

Incorporating the hoop into a regular exercise routine can have tremendous benefits for everyone, particularly those with ADHD. In addition to her experience as a Special Educator and Hoop Instructor, she is a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Group Fitness Instructor certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). These certifications have equipped her with the knowledge and expertise to guide others towards achieving their fitness goals and leading a healthier lifestyle.
